In collaboration with Pérez Palacios Arquitectos, the commission involved designing twin houses with identical structures but distinct personalities. The choice of materials, custom-designed furniture, and curated art were the tools used to create these differences. In one house, more sober and formal, the contrast between black and white organizes the space and gives it character. In the other, more relaxed and warm, terracotta and ecru tones, along with light woods, create a welcoming and luminous atmosphere.

What unites the houses runs deeper than what sets them apart. Both open up to the outside, frame their immediate surroundings, and let in light, air, and the vegetation. The result is spaces that breathe and evoke a sense of well-being and lightness. Viewing the two houses together is an exercise in how individuality can be expressed without sacrificing a shared connection to nature and introspection.
